A Struggle as Old as Time Itself
Since the dawn of time, mankind has been in a struggle to exercise wise dominion and good stewardship of the world around us. We hunted, then tamed animals. We learned to grow food. Somewhere along the way we took on leather, textiles, stone, metal, and gems (and so, the inspiration for Minecraft was born). Today, some young folk (and some less-young!) began a journey to wield dominion and stewardship over some Arduino boards and the world of electronics!
Tinkering for Life
Using kits that we put together with products from Adafruit (notably, we used the Metro 328 boards), Amazon, and Monoprice we launched the first Family and Friends Arduino 101 class here at E-g. Of course we ate some good “chikin” and filled up on some sugary soda drinks to make sure we were properly fueled for the adventure.
Basically: every once in awhile you’ve just got to get together and tinker with electronics and software!
